Singer, songwriter and actress Stacey Ferguson aka Fergie from hot US band The Black Eyed Peas has married her actor fiancé Josh Duhamel early than rumours suggested she might. Josh was the star of the TV series ‘Las Vegas’ and the Michael Bay big budget movie Transformers in 2007. Josh also stars in the sequel, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, later this year.

It was believed that Fergie was planning her wedding for summer 2009, but she and partner Josh have tied the knot a few days ago in a luxurious ceremony in Malibu.

Contrary to previous rumours that the star was going to design her own wedding dress, Fergie wore a stunning coloured gown by designers Dolce & Gabbana and carried an elegant bouquet of white crystal studded flowers. The bridesmaids wore black.

The star studded ceremony was followed by a romantic reception in a tent decorated to look like a forest.

Initial wedding celebrations began last week with the pair enjoying their stag party and hen nights together with 75 close family and friends at the infamous Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica.

The pair is now thought to be in the Bahamas enjoying their honeymoon before heading back to the £2.5million home they share in Los Angeles.

Socialite and darling of the trendy Primrose hill set Pearl Lowe has finally wed her long term beau, Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey in Somerset.

Pearl was dressed in black for the majority of the day and the unusual ceremony took place in front of 80 family and friends. Pearl aged 38 and Danny, 34 were blessed by candlelight at the blessing.

Actor and close friend of the couple Rhys Ifans was an usher at the ceremony whilst Supergrass front man Gaz Coombes was on best man duties.

Other guests at the nuptials included Australian actress turned singer Natalie Imbruglia, British actress Jaime Winstone, and former Libertines singer Carl Barat.

Pearl wore a traditional white wedding gown for the civil ceremony but later changed into a gothic black silk gown for the blessing. Daughters Daisy, Frankie and Betty were also dressed in black lacy gowns as bridesmaids.

Fashion designer Pearl claims that she wore black to her blessing as she considered white to be inappropriate after having 4 children.

She commented:-

‘I’m just not the kind of person that would wear white. My mother has always joked and said that I had the whole Goth look going even when I was a child and it was fashionable.

Also I do have four children - so I think I couldn’t really have got away with a white dress. It’s quite dramatic, I admit, but that’s just me.”

Danny and Pearl met 13 years ago, and have experienced a troubled relationship from time to time, largely as a result of the couple’s rock and roll lifestyle, which led to Pearls long term battle with drugs. Thankfully the pair have put their wild days behind them and are now enjoying a much quieter life at their country home in Frome, Somerset.

Welsh rock-star Kelly Jones, vocalist with renowned band Stereophonics has spoken out against claims that football hero Wayne Rooney is attempting to sue him.

Kelly, aged 34 revealed that he was initially stunned when his band was asked to play at Rooney’s honeymoon party, the day after he wed long time girlfriend Colleen McLouglhin in Santa Margherita, on the Italian Riviera.

He said:-

“I was stunned when I got the call to play for Wayne to be honest. I knew he was a big fan and had been coming to our gigs for a long time and Colleen said she’d love to have us there to surprise him at the honeymoon party the day after their wedding.

So they sent a private plane over, as you do, and we suddenly found ourselves on the Italian coast.”

He went on to say that the party was not the star-studded extravaganza that he had been anticipating, it was simply the newlyweds close family and friends.

The singer denied the claims saying:-

“All that came about when I told them about how Wayne supposedly tried to pinch a hoodie from the merchandise stall at one of our shows when he was a nipper and got smacked by one of our guys for his trouble.

I think some of his people saw it and got a bit anxious about it, but Wayne doesn’t give a s*** – he was texting me all during that time and didn’t even mention it once.”

Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson and her actor husband Ryan Reynolds are reportedly planning to hold a second wedding ceremony.

The pair, who originally wed in the grooms native Canada are rumoured to be planning a ’simple and classic’ ceremony in the presence of a wedding party of 150.

Derbyshire actor, Tom Chambers star of BBC 1’s hit medical drama Holby City has married his long time girlfriend Clare in a private ceremony recently.

And the happy couple managed to impress their wedding guests with their very first dance as a married couple at their reception.

The pair waltzed onto the dance floor to ‘Chicago’ - the same song which helped the actor to his position at the top of the leader board on BBC 1’s Strictly Come Dancing recently.

“Seeing Tom get married was a very proud moment. We were all in tears on the front row and Clare was very emotional when she was trying to get her words out.”

British actress Wendy Richards has married her partner of more than 10 years, 45 year old John Burns in a civil ceremony in the city of London.

Wendy, aged 65 is better known to the nation as long suffering cockny, Pauline Fowler from long running BBC soap Eastenders.

The couple already live together in Marylebone, Central London and decided to wed prior to the start of the well known actresses forthcoming chemotherapy treatment.

Wendy was diagnosed with a devastating form of cancer which has caused severe kidney damage and has unfortunately spread to her bones, after having fought breast cancer twice previously.

The courageous bride and her new husband looked happy and posed for waiting photographers and press as they left the swish Chesterfield Hotel in Mayfair in the capital after the celebrations.

The newly weds have revealed that they have planned a romantic honeymoon in the USA but have opted to schedule it for after the actress’ first chemotherapy session on 13th October.

Wendy spoke recently of the trauma caused by finding out that her cancer had returned, she revealed:-

“I was absolutely raging, hopping mad to have to go through it all again. It has come as a terrible shock and you just get so fed up. You think, ‘Oh, crikey, here we go again’, but you just have to buck your ideas up and get on with these things.”
