On your wedding day, whilst you’re having your hair styled and perfected on the morning of your wedding wear a shirt instead of a t-shirt. Most brides wear a t-shirt without considering how they’re going to take it off afterwards. Where as a shirt may be un-buttoned without having to pull it over the head with the possibility of damaging the hair-do. Equally if you are to be wearing a over the head dress it’s recommended that you place a silk overskirt across your head beforehand so that it may slide on simply and easily without ruining that perfected look or getting makeup over it. Remove labels on the underside of your shoes before the day, this can often be forgotten before the day of the wedding and can become very time consuming, it’s a simple thing that can be done in advance. It is also helpful to have a friend present during the preparations who isn’t in the bridal preparations to help you to dress and with such things as laces or buttons, this is due to the fact that other guests may have had false nails etc. done for the celebration. Lastly always dress the bride first if things begin to run behind the bride doesn’t want to be the one left getting ready in a rush.
