Dress – the flowing white gown is still popular today but many have started to vary it with a suit or dress that can be worn on other occasions. If you are still steadfastly traditional then hire your dress instead and get the bridesmaids to pay for their dress. Children’s outfits can be reasonably priced at around £20.00.
Groom – most suit hire firms have special offers on for the groom and his entourage!
Flowers – keep the flower arrangements simple. Make sure you shop around as local florists often have deals and will recommend flowers in season to help cut costs.
Photography – here find a friend who is good with a camera! The same goes for the wedding video but get your chosen friend to practice before the big day! Also, consider using a service to convert your pictures to canvas photos. They are quite cheap and the results look much more sophisticated and professional.
Make Up & Hair - most people have a friend who was made to be a hairdresser or make up artist. You can get a free make over at most big department stores so that you can select your make up early on.
Transport – you can keep costs down here by getting your friend with the flash car to help out for the day.
